Send Me is a grassroots nonprofit organization. The personal information we collect through this website is limited to what is necessary to complete an online financial transaction or respond to a donor’s request. Donors are not contacted for research purposes. Communication is primarily related to a donor’s transaction but may also include ministry and project updates.

The types of personal information we may collect include your name, contact and billing information, donation history, and payment details.

In addition to information submitted through forms or donations, our website platform (Wix) may use cookies or similar technologies to collect anonymous data related to site performance or user experience. We do not currently access or analyze this data directly, but it may be used by trusted third-party services—such as payment processors, email providers, or analytics tools—to support functionality and improve performance.

Opt-In / Opt-Out

By making a donation, a donor may be added to our mailing list. Individuals who do not donate may also choose to “opt-in” to receive ministry updates, event announcements, and prayer requests.

There are two ways to opt in:

  1. Email us directly at info@sendme.org

  2. Become a personal prayer partner for a short-term missionary who knows you

Anyone receiving email from Send Me can unsubscribe at any time by using the opt-out link included in each message or by contacting us directly.

Use and Disclosure of Information

The information we collect is used solely to:

  • Complete a donation or requested transaction

  • Communicate back to you about your donation or involvement

  • Provide updates on Send Me’s ministry activities and progress

Payment information is securely processed through our third-party provider and is not stored by Send Me. We do not retain credit card or bank account details in our systems.

Send Me does not sell, rent, or lease personal data. We currently use services such as DonorPerfect, SafeSave, Wix, and YouTube to process donations, host our website, and share updates. These services are only used to support your relationship with Send Me and are never used for advertising or data resale.

Cookies and Browsing Technology

Our website may use cookies or similar tools to support basic site functionality and improve user experience. These tools do not collect personal data from your hard drive, and you can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. 
 

We do not use cookies for advertising or behavioral profiling.

This site includes embedded videos from YouTube. YouTube may set cookies to track video performance, user preferences, or location once a video is played. Send Me is committed to safeguarding your personal information. Our website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption for data transmission. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

Data Access and Updates

To update your contact information or cancel a recurring donation, please email us at info@sendme.org. We are happy to assist with any updates or corrections to your data. Donor records are retained as required for financial accountability and compliance purposes, typically for a period of seven years. This allows us to maintain accurate giving histories, respond to donor inquiries, and meet IRS requirements.

International Users

This website is operated in the United States. If you are accessing it from outside the U.S., please note that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the website or submitting your information, you consent to this transfer.

Children's Privacy

Send Me does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child has submitted personal data, we will promptly delete it from our records.

For additional information about your use of this site, please see our Terms and Conditions. Send Me reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of the revised policy.
